TLDR Allium hookeri extract may help promote hair growth and protect cells from damage.
The study investigated the effects of Allium hookeri extract (AHE) on human dermal papilla cells (DPCs), which are crucial for hair follicle regeneration. The research found that AHE increased the viability and size of DPC spheroids and upregulated hair-growth-related genes. AHE also reduced H2O2-mediated cytotoxicities, cell death, and cellular senescence in DPCs. The study concluded that AHE could potentially regulate GSK3β-mediated β-Catenin, NRF2, and NF-κB signaling to enhance hair-inductive properties and protect against oxidative stress-induced cellular damage in DPCs. This suggests that AHE may have potential applications in promoting hair growth and health.

community Does onion juice actually stop hair fall, or is it just hype?

      in Treatment 3 weeks ago
Onion juice may temporarily improve hair health by boosting blood circulation and providing antibacterial benefits, but it is ineffective against genetic or hormonal hair loss. Proven treatments like minoxidil and finasteride are recommended for more reliable results.
