This study developed and tested nanostructured lipid carriers (NLC) containing finasteride, using lipids from fruit seeds, to treat androgenetic alopecia (AGA) in rats. The NLC formulation showed high bioavailability and effectively restored hair follicles without systemic absorption, indicating its potential as a safe and effective topical treatment for AGA.
