TLDR Finasteride-loaded nanoparticles may help treat alopecia.
The study aimed to develop a potential treatment for alopecia using finasteride-loaded nanoparticles. The study produced PLGA nanoparticles loaded with finasteride and incorporated them into three different types of topical formulations: lotion, shampoo, and solution. The study found that the developed finasteride-loaded nanoparticles have potential for the treatment of alopecia. The study suggests that finasteride-loaded nanoparticles have potential as a topical treatment for alopecia.
