TLDR Mesotherapy might help with hair growth in androgenic alopecia, but more research is needed.
This study reviews the efficacy and safety of mesotherapy as an adjunctive treatment for androgenetic alopecia (AGA). The analysis, based on a narrative literature review from PubMed, indicates that mesotherapy may improve hair density, thickness, and patient satisfaction, with generally mild and transient adverse effects. However, the variability in study designs and treatment protocols limits the strength of these conclusions. The study suggests that while mesotherapy could be a supportive treatment option for AGA, there is a need for standardized protocols and further research to establish evidence-based guidelines.
