TLDR Both PRP and MZT treatments can significantly improve hair growth in patients with androgenetic alopecia.
The retrospective study compared the efficacy of Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) and Mesotherapy with Recombinant Growth Factors and Stem Cell-Conditioned Media in treating Androgenetic Alopecia in 150 patients. Both treatments significantly improved hair density and thickness over a 6-month period, with PRP showing slightly higher efficacy. The study concluded that while both treatments are effective, PRP might offer a marginally better outcome for patients with Androgenetic Alopecia.
