TLDR Derma Genie™-H001 can help prevent hair loss and promote hair growth.
The study evaluated Derma Genie™-H001, a blend of five medicinal plants, for its potential as a functional cosmetic ingredient to improve hair loss. The research demonstrated that Derma Genie™-H001 has significant anti-inflammatory, antioxidative, photoprotective, and antiandrogenic properties. It effectively reduced inflammatory mediators and protected human dermal papilla cells (HDPCs) from hydrogen peroxide and UVB-induced cytotoxicity. Additionally, it increased the expression of hair growth-related genes and decreased the expression of hair loss-related genes in HDPCs. These findings suggest that Derma Genie™-H001 could be a valuable natural ingredient for hair loss prevention and hair growth promotion.
