Effects of Adipose-Derived Stem Cells and Platelet-Rich Plasma Exosomes on the Inductivity of Hair Dermal Papilla Cells

    The research examined the impact of exosomes from human adipose stem cells (hASCs) and platelet-rich plasma (PRP) on the growth, movement, and protein expression of human dermal papilla cells (hDPCs), which are vital for hair follicle development and regeneration. The findings revealed that 100 μg/ml of hASCs-derived exosomes significantly boosted the expression of alkaline phosphatase (ALP), versican, and smooth muscle alpha-actin (α-SMA) proteins by 1.2, 2, and 3 times respectively, compared to the control group. Additionally, this concentration of hASCs-derived exosomes notably encouraged DPC growth and movement in culture compared to the same concentration of PRP-derived exosomes. The study concluded that hASCs-derived exosomes could potentially improve the growth and survival of DPCs, offering a new effective method for treating hair loss.
