TLDR Fenugreek seed extract in nanoparticles effectively promotes hair growth.
The study evaluated the effectiveness of Solid Lipid Nanoparticles (SLN) containing Fenugreek Seed Extract (FSE) in promoting hair growth in Wistar rats with cyclophosphamide-induced alopecia. Over 21 days, the FSE-SLN gel significantly increased hair length and reduced the time needed for hair growth compared to conventional treatments. The SLN formulation improved the extract's penetration into the skin, effectively targeting the epidermis while minimizing systemic absorption and side effects. These findings indicate that this nanoformulation could be a promising alternative for hair growth treatments.
