TLDR The herbal hair serum improves hair quality and growth, and is a good alternative to traditional cosmetics because it doesn't contain harmful chemicals like parabens and sulphates.
The study developed a herbal hair serum using extracts from various herbs and evaluated its properties and effects on hair. The serum had a smooth texture, acceptable pH, and demonstrated good hair growth and increased hair weight after application. It showed minor sensitivity initially but remained stable for seven days. The serum also showed significant hair growth with an average length of 6.98 mm over three weeks, and microbial contamination of 1.89 CFU for fungi after seven days. No significant change in pH and viscosity was observed over three months. The study concluded that the herbal serum enhances hair quality and supports the increasing use of herbal cosmetics due to their lack of parabens and sulphates. The global herbal industry is projected to be worth more than US$10 billion.
