    The study investigated the effects of low molecular weight collagen peptide (LMWCP) on hair growth and found that LMWCP promotes hair growth by enhancing cell proliferation, mitochondrial potential, and secretion of hair growth-related factors in human dermal papilla cells. It also increased the formation of new hair follicles in a dose-dependent manner and upregulated key proteins and genes in the Wnt/GSK-3β/β-catenin signaling pathway. Additionally, oral administration of LMWCP in mice significantly stimulated hair growth and increased the expression of hair growth-related proteins and genes. These results suggest that LMWCP could be a potential treatment for promoting hair growth by activating the Wnt/β-catenin signaling pathway.
