TLDR New treatment combining PRP and SVF increases hair density in 6-12 weeks for androgenetic alopecia patients.
The study evaluated the effectiveness of a new autologous treatment option for androgenetic alopecia (AGA) using injections of stromal vascular fraction (SVF) combined with platelet-rich plasma (PRP) in the upper scalp. Ten male patients suffering from AGA were treated with a single injection of autologous PRS (ACPSVF) in the upper scalp. Hair density was significantly increased after 6 weeks and 12 weeks post-injection, and new hair grew from active follicles. No side effects were noted after treatment. The study concluded that a single treatment of platelet-rich stroma injected in the scalp of patients with AGA significantly increased hair density within 6 to 12 weeks.

Someone's brother tried Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) for hair loss; it had minimal effect on hair but improved skin appearance. Microneedling at home was suggested as a more sustainable alternative.
