TLDR Aloe vera, Centella asiatica, Green Tea, and Pueraria mirifica extracts together boost hair growth by enhancing stem cell properties.
The study explores the effects of a combination of natural extracts from Aloe vera, Centella asiatica, Green Tea, and Pueraria mirifica (ACGP) on human dermal papilla cells, which are important for hair growth. The ACGP combination significantly increased cell proliferation and enhanced the expression of stem cell markers (OCT4, NANOG, SOX2) by stabilizing β-catenin and activating the Akt signaling pathway, showing a more pronounced effect than individual extracts. This suggests a potential therapeutic approach for hair regrowth and loss prevention, though further research with animal models and clinical trials is needed to confirm these findings.
