The combination of these extracts (ACGP) did not affect cell viability and significantly enhanced cell proliferation and stem cell-like properties. Specifically, ACGP treatment increased the expression of stem cell factors OCT4, NANOG, and SOX2 by 40-, 110-, and 30-fold at the mRNA level, and 2-, 3-, and 2-fold at the protein level, respectively. This was achieved through the stabilization of β-catenin and activation of the Akt signaling pathway, demonstrating a synergistic effect in promoting hair growth.
