Key genes such as FRZB, TRIB3, ACE2, and TLR2 were linked to hair follicle development, and pathways like Wnt, TGF-β, and JAK-STAT were enriched. Fine-wool rabbits exhibited higher hair follicle density and finer wool fibers. The study's findings offer valuable insights for molecular breeding programs aimed at enhancing wool quality in Angora rabbits.
