TLDR Phospholipids from pig lungs can significantly promote hair growth.
In 2015, a study was conducted to investigate the hair growth-promoting potential of BP201, a phospholipid mixture derived from porcine lung tissues. The study involved BALB/c and C3H mice, which were treated with BP201, minoxidil (MNX), or a combination of both. The results showed that BP201 treatment significantly increased hair growth area and length in both types of mice. In C3H mice, a good model for human alopecia areata, BP201 treatment resulted in 47.0- and 2.5-fold increases in hair growth area and length, respectively. The combination of BP201 and MNX also enhanced hair growth activity more than either treatment alone. Histological analysis revealed that BP201 treatment increased the number of hair follicles in the anagen phase of hair growth. The study concluded that BP201 showed hair growth-promoting potential by enhancing the number of hair follicles and maintaining a high anagen-to-telogen ratio. However, the specific phospholipid species in BP201 responsible for this effect was not identified.

User can't find 2% keto shampoo in their area and asks about ketoconazole BP20. Replies confirm that 20mg/ml means 2% ketoconazole and BP stands for British Pharmacopoeia, ensuring purity and quality standards.
