TLDR PRP therapy and minoxidil combo works best for male hair loss.
The study compared the effectiveness of PRP therapy, minoxidil, and their combination in treating men with androgenetic alopecia (AGA). The results showed that PRP therapy was more effective than minoxidil therapy, and the combination therapy was even more effective than either therapy alone. Immunohistochemical study showed positive changes in markers of proliferative activity of hair follicle cells after PRP therapy. The study suggests that PRP therapy is a cost-effective and feasible alternative treatment for hair loss. However, further research is needed to explore its potential effects on specific proteins that trigger pathological signaling pathways.
