TLDR PRP therapy works better than minoxidil for treating hair loss.
The study compared the efficacy of platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy and minoxidil therapy for treating androgenetic alopecia (AGA) in 40 patients, with 20 in each group. After 6 months, results indicated that PRP therapy had better outcomes than minoxidil therapy based on global photography, hair pull test, hair growth questionnaire, and patient satisfaction scores. Higher platelet counts in PRP correlated with better clinical improvement. PRP therapy had minimal side effects and showed promise as a valuable alternative to minoxidil for AGA treatment.

My hairline, I am only 23. This conversation is about a user's experience with treatments for androgenic alopecia, including finasteride, dutasteride, RU, minoxidil, progesterone, melatonin, LLLT, oral minoxidil, and Pyrilutamide. They have tried many treatments over the course of two years without seeing much success, and they are considering getting a hair system as a last resort.

Kitchen_Plastic_2847 had been fighting hair loss since 2019-2020 and was initially successful in regrowing his hair with finasteride. However, after contracting Covid three times back to back at the start of 2021, he started to lose his hair again. He found a new dermatologist who prescribed him oral minoxidil along with finasteride, but eventually decided it wasn't worth spending all the money to try and save his hair.

The conversation is about hair transplants and the perception that they often look unnatural, especially in the first few rows of hair. There is a debate about whether it's better to choose a cheaper clinic in Turkey or a more expensive one in the USA, with some arguing that experience and skill matter more than cost.
