TLDR Cuticapil Stem Hair Serum improves hair growth and reduces shedding when added to minoxidil.
The study assessed the efficacy and safety of Cuticapil Stem Hair Serum as an add-on to minoxidil in treating androgenetic alopecia (AGA) and female pattern hair loss (FPHL) in 60 patients over 12 weeks. Conducted across seven clinical sites in India, the study found that the serum significantly reduced hair shedding and improved hair density and appearance compared to minoxidil alone. The Cuticapil group showed a greater reduction in hair shedding and improvements in hair pull tests, photographic impressions, and patient assessments. The serum, containing natural ingredients like caffeine, Procapil, and Capilia Longa, was well-tolerated with no significant adverse events. Despite the promising results, the study's small sample size and short duration limit its generalizability, suggesting the need for further research with larger populations.
