TLDR Thulium laser therapy is a safe and effective short-term treatment for hair regrowth.

The study investigates the use of a 1927-nm thulium laser for treating androgenic alopecia (AGA) in 10 Indonesian patients. The treatment involved two sessions of laser application without anesthesia, with evaluations conducted two weeks after the final session. Results showed significant clinical improvement in hair regrowth and patient satisfaction, with no adverse events reported. The study concludes that thulium laser therapy is a safe and effective short-term treatment for AGA.
