TLDR Using a special laser and growth serum can safely increase hair thickness and density in people with hair loss.
A pilot study involving 10 subjects with mild to moderate androgenic alopecia (AGA) tested the efficacy of a new treatment combining 1927nm fractional laser with a proprietary growth factor serum. The treatment was found to be safe and effective, with all subjects reporting no side effects and satisfaction with their results. Over a six-month period, significant increases in hair density and diameter were observed. The number of treatments did not affect the results, suggesting that three treatments at 4-weekly intervals is an optimal treatment protocol.
