Application of Thulium 1927-nm Laser for Androgenic Alopecia Treatment in Indonesian Patients

The study evaluated the efficacy of 1927-nm thulium laser therapy for treating androgenic alopecia in 10 Indonesian patients. The treatment involved two sessions of laser application without anesthesia, and results were assessed using the Global Photographic Assessment and patient satisfaction scales. Significant clinical improvement and increased patient satisfaction were observed at follow-ups, with no adverse events reported. The study concludes that thulium laser therapy is a safe and effective short-term treatment for hair regrowth in AGA patients.
