An "After Minoxidil" spray was reported to cut greasiness 78% and raise intended six-month adherence from 0% to 70%. Adding concentrated growth factor injections improved density and growth in men poorly responsive to minoxidil. A photobiomodulation analysis found higher energy, longer exposure, and pulsed light increased density; diode count did not. Hyperbaric oxygen after transplantation cut postoperative shedding from 69% to 28%, though graft survival was unchanged. A PRP meta-analysis found density gains in men but not women, with double-spin preparations working better. Low-dose oral minoxidil was reported well tolerated, with dose-related hypertrichosis in 24%, though efficacy could not be formally analyzed. Alopecia areata patients showed lower vitamin D than controls, calcium unaffected.
