TLDR Laser-Assisted Exosome Delivery showed early skin improvement without side effects, but more research is needed.
This pilot study introduces Laser-Assisted Exosome Delivery (LAED) using a fractional CO2 laser, combined with exosomes, to treat skin conditions. It involved two cases: a 62-year-old man with acne scars and a 68-year-old woman with photoaging-related discoloration. Both patients showed early clinical improvement, with the man experiencing smoother scars and the woman seeing a 30% reduction in pigmentation. Recovery times were shorter, and no adverse events were reported. Despite promising results, the study's small sample size and non-comparative nature mean that further research with larger, controlled trials is needed to confirm LAED's efficacy.
