TLDR The collagen booster may improve healing after CO2 laser treatment for skin aging.
The study aimed to evaluate the efficacy of a skin collagen booster containing exosomes as an adjuvant therapy following CO2 laser fractional treatment for skin aging. It involved 20 skin tests on the forearm of a healthy adult, with 10 tests using only the CO2 laser treatment and 10 using both the laser treatment and the collagen booster. The Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) system was employed to assess vascularization during healing, and the healing process was monitored through photographic documentation and observation of crust exfoliation. The study suggests that the collagen booster may enhance the healing process post-laser treatment.
