Pharmacologic Management of Pattern Hair Loss

A 25-year-old male experienced significant hair loss due to telogen effluvium and androgenetic alopecia. He began using finasteride, minoxidil, and vitamins, seeing some regrowth but remains worried about hair density.

A 20-year-old female with PCOS is experiencing hair loss and excessive facial hair. She is using ketoconazole and caffeine shampoos, microneedling, and considering anti-androgens like finasteride, but is cautious about minoxidil due to facial hair concerns.

A female user is experiencing heavy hair shedding and receding temples, possibly due to low ferritin levels. She is using oral minoxidil, iron supplements, and ketoconazole shampoo, and is hesitant to start spironolactone.
