Additionally, red light treatment upregulated IL-6, IL-8, IGF-1, TGF-β1, and VEGF mRNA expressions. LED-irradiated hORSCs also boosted the proliferation of human dermal papilla cells (hDPCs) in co-culture, suggesting that LED light promotes hair growth through these molecular pathways.
