TLDR
LLLT is a safe, promising hair loss treatment, but more research needed.
This document is a review of various treatments for androgenetic alopecia (AGA), including low-level laser therapy (LLLT). The review concludes that there are many treatment options available for AGA, but the choice of treatment should be tailored to the patient's needs, affordability, and compliance. LLLT has been found to be effective in treating male and female pattern hair loss, increasing hair follicles in mice, and treating AGA in humans. It is a safe and promising option for AGA, but more research is needed to fully understand its benefits and limitations.
