    A 24-week, randomized, double-blind, sham device-controlled multicenter trial was conducted to evaluate the efficacy and safety of low-level light therapy (LLLT) for androgenetic alopecia (AGA). The study involved 110 male and female participants with AGA, and they were randomly assigned to receive either LLLT or a sham device. The results showed that LLLT was effective in promoting hair growth and improving hair thickness in participants with AGA. The treatment was well-tolerated and no serious adverse events were reported. The study concluded that LLLT is a safe and effective treatment option for AGA.
