TLDR HairMax LaserComb® effectively promotes hair growth and stops hair loss in males with androgenetic alopecia, with no serious side effects.
The HairMax LaserComb® is a hand-held laser phototherapy device that uses a technique of parting the user's hair by combs that are attached to the device, which improves delivery of distributed laser light to the scalp. The primary aim of the study was to assess the safety and effectiveness of the HairMax LaserCombⓇ laser phototherapy device in the promotion of hair growth and in the cessation of hair loss in males diagnosed with androgenetic alopecia (AGA). The study found that the HairMax LaserComb® was effective in promoting hair growth in male patients with AGA. The device was well-tolerated and had no serious adverse effects.
