TLDR Monegy, a mix of certain plant extracts, may promote hair growth and repair.
In this study, researchers investigated the effects of a mixture of Sophorae Radix, Panax ginseng, and Salvia miltiorrhiza BUNGE (referred to as Monegy) on hair growth and distribution. Using confocal laser scanning microscopy, they observed that Monegy significantly enhanced the penetration and distribution of its components in the skin, with fluorescence intensity and area increasing up to 205 and 255 times, respectively, compared to control groups. The study involved 20 participants (15 men and 5 women) and showed that Monegy improved hair growth by approximately 75%, suggesting that its natural components could activate hair growth factors and promote follicle growth.
