TLDR PRP injections improve hair density in male hair loss.
This document is a summary of five different studies that evaluated the effectiveness and safety of platelet-rich plasma (PRP) injections in treating male androgenetic alopecia (AGA). The studies involved a total of 130 male patients with AGA who received PRP or a placebo. The results showed that PRP treatment had positive effects on AGA in males, with a significant increase in hair density observed after treatment. However, further studies are needed to identify factors that may affect PRP treatment performance, such as the stage of the disease. Overall, PRP injections can be a safe and effective treatment option for male AGA.
