TLDR PRP, exosomes, and stem cells show promise in improving skin and hair conditions but need standardized treatment protocols.
Plasma-rich plasma (PRP), exosomes, and stem cells show significant potential in aesthetic medicine for applications such as facial rejuvenation, wound healing, androgenetic alopecia, acne scars, and vitiligo. PRP is noted for its benefits in wound healing and facial rejuvenation, while exosomes are promising for skin rejuvenation, scar reduction, hyperpigmentation, and hair growth. Stem cells are particularly promising for treating androgenetic alopecia, improving scars, and addressing photoaged skin. However, the lack of standardized treatment protocols and the combination of these new technologies with existing treatments make it difficult to determine the specific contributions of each method.
