The study investigated the effects of combining microneedling (MN) with 5% minoxidil topical solution on hair growth in 18 patients with androgenetic alopecia (AGA). Over 10 weeks, patients received six treatment sessions. Results showed significant improvement in hair appearance, with mean scores of 1.44 ± 0.61 (investigator assessment) and 1.66 ± 0.59 (participant assessment) on a 7-point scale. Additionally, 83.3% of patients were satisfied with the hair growth improvement, and no severe adverse events were reported.
