Randomized Trial of Electrodynamic Microneedle Combined with 5% Minoxidil Topical Solution for the Treatment of Chinese Male Androgenetic Alopecia

    TLDR Combining electrodynamic microneedle with 5% minoxidil improves hair growth and reduces hair loss in Chinese men.
    A study of 60 Chinese male Androgenetic alopecia patients found that combining electrodynamic microneedle with 5% minoxidil topical solution was effective in promoting hair growth and reducing hair loss. The treatment group showed significant improvement in hair density and thickness after 24 weeks. The combination treatment was found to be safe and well-tolerated. The study concluded that combining electrodynamic microneedle with 5% minoxidil topical solution was more effective than using minoxidil alone for treating Androgenetic alopecia in Chinese men.
