TLDR The Hair660™ light therapy device effectively and safely improves hair density in people with androgenetic alopecia.
This 24-week, randomized, double-blind, sham device-controlled multicenter trial evaluated the efficacy and safety of the Hair660™ low-level light therapy (LLLT) device for treating androgenetic alopecia (AGA) in 56 subjects. The study found that the LLLT device significantly improved hair density compared to the sham device (12.1±5.1% vs. -0.5±8.1%, p<0.01), with average hair densities of 146±31.9/cm² and 129.8±37.6/cm², respectively, after 24 weeks. Investigator assessments confirmed improved hair density, although subject assessments did not show a statistical difference. No serious adverse reactions were reported. The study concluded that Hair660™ is an effective and safe LLLT device for treating AGA.
