TLDR Minoxidil and photobiomodulation together improve hair growth better than minoxidil alone.
A study on 30 male participants found that combining minoxidil with photobiomodulation is more effective in promoting hair growth for male androgenetic alopecia than minoxidil alone. All 21 participants in the treatment group showed improvements in hair growth with no adverse events reported. The study suggests that combining photobiomodulation with conventional therapies may be a promising approach for the treatment of AGA.
