TLDR Herbal solution improves hair diameter and density more than 5% minoxidil for androgenetic alopecia.
In a double-blind, randomized controlled trial from November 2020 involving 24 participants, a novel herbal solution for treating androgenetic alopecia (AGA) was compared to 5% minoxidil. After 36 weeks, the herbal solution group showed significant improvements in hair diameter and hair density compared to the 5% minoxidil group. The study suggests that the herbal solution may be a safe and effective alternative to 5% minoxidil for treating AGA.
