TLDR Finasteride use doesn't cause sexual dysfunction in men with hair loss.
A survey-based study of 762 men with androgenetic alopecia found that finasteride use is not associated with sexual dysfunction. The study included 663 finasteride users and 99 non-users, and results showed no significant difference in sexual function between the two groups. The study concluded that concerns about sexual dysfunction associated with finasteride use may be unfounded.
