Randomized Questionnaire-Based Case-Control Research Study on Evaluation of Sexual Function in Indian Patients Taking Oral Finasteride for Androgenetic Alopecia

    TLDR Finasteride doesn't negatively affect sexual function in Indian men with hair loss.
    This study investigated the sexual function of Indian patients taking oral finasteride for androgenetic alopecia. A questionnaire was given to 586 patients taking finasteride and an age-related control group. The results showed no significant difference in sexual function between the two groups, indicating that finasteride does not have a negative impact on sexual function in Indian patients with androgenetic alopecia. The study concluded that finasteride was found to be a safe drug in this Indian male population.
