TLDR TRα and CRABPII genes change their activity levels during goat fetal skin development.
The study investigated the expression patterns of TRα and CRABPII genes in the fetal skin of Chinese cashmere goats during prenatal development using real-time quantitative PCR (RT-qPCR). TRα was expressed at high levels at embryonic day (E) 70, decreased slightly from E75 to E90, and peaked at E130. CRABPII mRNA showed an 'up-down-up' trend, with the highest expression at E75, a significant down-regulation from E80 to E120, and a mild increase at E130. These findings provided insights into the dynamic expression of these genes during cashmere formation, potentially informing further studies on their roles in regulating cashmere growth in goats.

The conversation discusses using NAC (N-Acetyl Cysteine) alongside minoxidil and finasteride for hair loss, with some users noting potential hairline improvement and increased energy. The original poster reduced their finasteride dosage due to mental decline and anxiety, and while NAC's effects on hair are anecdotal, it is considered low-risk with other health benefits.
