TLDR Regional nerve blocks are better than ring blocks for pain relief during PRP hair treatment.
This study compared the efficacy of regional nerve blocks (STN and SON) and ring blocks as local anesthetic techniques for PRP treatment in hair regrowth among 100 patients. Results showed that regional nerve blocks were significantly more effective in reducing pain, with a mean rank of 30.28 compared to 70.72 for ring blocks, and a p-value of 0.00. The conclusion is that regional nerve blocks are superior to ring blocks for providing local anesthesia during PRP treatment for hair growth.
