TLDR PRP injections effectively promote hair growth in androgenetic alopecia patients.
A study from 5 years ago found that both mechanical and controlled PRP injections can be effective in promoting hair growth in patients with androgenetic alopecia. The study involved injecting PRP at a depth of 5mm using a medical injector gun, with three treatment sessions performed for each patient at 30-day intervals. The study suggests that using a gun to inject PRP can effectively treat hair loss in patients who are sensitive to pain and do not require anesthesia. The authors recommend further clinical trials using mechanical injection systems.
