Effects of Aucklandia Lappa Decne. Extract on Hair Growth in Depilated CL57BL/6 Mice

    The study investigated the effects of Aucklandia lappa Decne. extract on hair growth in depilated CL57BL/6 mice. The extract was prepared using a 70% prethanol solution and tested for polyphenol content, cell viability, and nitric oxide inhibition. Mice were divided into groups and given the extract orally for 6 weeks. Hair growth and weight changes were monitored, and tissue samples were analyzed for toxicity and collagen production. Results showed that the extract promoted hair growth without significant toxicity, suggesting its potential as a treatment for hair loss.
