TLDR The combination of Arginine Silicate Inositol Complex and a new form of Biotin improved hair and nail growth in rats.
The study involved 28 rats and examined the effects of Arginine Silicate Inositol Complex (ASI) and a novel form of Biotin (MgB) on hair and nail growth. The results showed that the combination of ASI and MgB significantly increased hair density and the percentage of hair in the growth phase, while decreasing the percentage of hair in the resting phase. The group receiving the highest dose of MgB showed a 55% increase in hair density and a 48.66% increase in the growth phase. This group also showed significant nail growth. Molecular analysis revealed increased levels of growth factors and signals crucial for hair follicle formation and regeneration. The study concluded that the combination of ASI and MgB promotes hair and nail growth, potentially offering a new approach for treating conditions like alopecia.
