An Open-Label Experience Trial to Evaluate the Effects of a Novel Supplement and Hair Serum Combination on Hair, Skin, and Nails in Healthy Women

The open-label experience trial evaluated the effects of LustrivaTM BH-002, a two-step system including a dietary supplement and hair serum, on women's hair, skin, and nails. The system contains highly bioavailable sources of biotin and silicon. In a previous double-blind, placebo-controlled trial with 90 women, Lustriva capsules increased hair thickness and reduced wrinkles. In this study, 12 women used LustrivaTM BH-002 for three months. Results showed that 92% reported improved hair volume, 82% reported improved hair thickness, and 75% reported improved hair shine. Additionally, 83% reported improved nail strength and growth rate. Skin surveys showed 75% of women reported improved skin smoothness and overall skin health, 83% were more satisfied with their facial skin health, and 83% were less bothered by facial lines. The study concluded that LustrivaTM BH-002 improves various aspects of hair, skin, and nail health and appearance in women. The study was funded by JDS Therapeutics, LLC.
