A Randomized Double-Blind Evaluation of a Novel Biotin and Silicon Ingredient Complex on the Hair and Skin of Healthy Women

The study evaluated the effects of LustrivaTM, a biotin and silicon complex, on hair and skin in 90 healthy women with thinning hair over 12 weeks. The high-dose LustrivaTM group (LHD) showed significant improvements in hair thickness and reduction in facial wrinkle depth compared to the placebo group, with results maintained throughout the study. The low-dose group (LLD) also showed improvements, though less pronounced. No adverse events were reported, suggesting LustrivaTM is safe and effective for enhancing hair and skin quality. Future studies were recommended.
