TLDR Nutrafol® Women's Capsules safely and effectively promote hair growth in women with thinning hair.
The study evaluated the safety and efficacy of a nutraceutical supplement, Nutrafol® Women's Capsules, for promoting hair growth in women with self-perceived thinning hair. Conducted over 6 months, the randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial involved 40 participants, with 26 receiving the active treatment and 14 receiving a placebo. Results showed a significant increase in the number of terminal and vellus hairs in the treatment group compared to the placebo group at both day 90 and day 180. Additionally, improvements in hair growth, volume, thickness, and overall hair quality were reported, alongside decreased anxiety and enhanced wellness. The supplement, containing a proprietary Synergen Complex®, was found to be safe with no adverse events reported, offering a multi-targeted approach to addressing hair loss through anti-inflammatory, adaptogenic, antioxidant, and dihydrotestosterone-inhibiting properties.
