TLDR Botanical extract shampoo and tonic improved hair loss in most participants.
This study investigated the effects of a botanical extract–infused shampoo and hair tonic on androgenetic alopecia (AGA) in 35 male participants over 6 months. The treatment, using Asacurin100 derived from roots and barks, showed promising results with 80% of participants experiencing significant improvement in hair loss and scalp symptoms. The study suggests that plant-derived compounds could serve as effective alternatives or adjuncts to conventional AGA treatments, offering anti-inflammatory and hair growth-promoting benefits. However, the study's limitations, such as the absence of a control group and potential biases, highlight the need for larger, randomized controlled trials to validate these findings.
