Effect of Natural Plant Extracts on Hair Loss Prevention in People with Alopecia

    TLDR Natural plant extracts with sweet flag can significantly reduce hair loss and increase hair density and thickness in people with alopecia.
    The study investigated the effects of Natural Plant Extracts (NPE) containing sweet flag on hair loss prevention in individuals with alopecia. A total of 8 subjects applied NPE for 10 months, resulting in a significant decrease in hair loss and an 82.67% increase in hair loss prevention compared to before the application (p<0.05). After 60 days, 80.24% of subjects reported great satisfaction with the NPE's effects. Additionally, hair density and thickness were significantly increased by 128% and 233%, respectively (p<0.05). The study concluded that NPE containing sweet flag could effectively prevent hair loss in people with alopecia.
