TLDR Autologous micrografting via the Rigenera® system shows promise in improving hair loss treatment.
The study explores the use of autologous micrografting technology via the Rigenera® system for treating androgenetic alopecia (AGA), a common form of hair loss. It combines results from two studies: one with 17 patients receiving a single micrograft session and another with 13 patients receiving two sessions. Both studies included a 6-month follow-up period. Results showed moderate improvement in hair loss reduction and hair density, with patients expressing satisfaction regarding hair improvement and treatment tolerability. The study concludes that this regenerative approach is a promising tool for clinicians to enhance AGA treatment by providing viable, sterile micrografts for immediate scalp injection.
